Sequencing

Sequencing is a great, open way to design a lesson task. Students get lots of comprehensible input and listening for detail and it is easy to do, organize.

1. Find a good piece of audio or video with clear steps. See our example below.
2. Explain to students they’ll be putting the steps of …. in order.
3. Allow students to write down their own steps.
4. Watch or listen. Students take notes and write down the steps.
5. Review together the steps.
